I have two children. I chose different arrangements for them because their temperaments, rhythms and needs differed at the time.
Different starting points. Different choices.
My older child moved to Singapore after completing junior secondary schooling and the entrance examination in China. We considered her existing foundation, adjustment pace and school demands. She earned the opportunity to enter Secondary 4 directly, completed O-Levels after roughly ten months of transition, and entered JC with an O-Level net score of 8 as an international student.
My younger child spent three years in Australia from Year 1. That stage gave us opportunities to observe his creativity, collaboration and deeper thinking. On moving to Singapore, he scored close to full marks in PET without specific preparation and passed AEIS on his first attempt to enter a government school.
The choices matter as much as the results.
I value those results, but they do not form a route to sell or copy. What matters to me is understanding a child: how they learn in a particular setting, receive support and meet challenges. New observations can prompt a fresh discussion of earlier choices.
A growth journey cannot simply be copied. We can observe carefully, try together and remain willing to adjust.
How this shapes INSPIX.
INSPIX starts with real learning: how a child understands a task, why they make a judgement, what changes after feedback and what support is useful next. Academy turns those observations into courses and practice. Growth records, professional connections and technology develop alongside them, informing the next step while leaving room to adjust.
This is the founder’s family experience and the origin of the approach. These results are not INSPIX programme outcomes or a promise of results for other families.
