8

O-Level net score · Progression to JC

A new school stage, after roughly ten months of transition.

After junior secondary school in China, the older child moved to Singapore, earned direct entry to Secondary 4 and entered JC with an O-Level net score of 8 as an international student. The lesson is to consider the learner’s foundation, adjustment pace and school demands.

AEIS

Passed first attempt · PET close to full marks

A different environment for a different learner.

The younger child spent three years in Australia from Year 1, developing creativity, collaboration and deeper thinking. On moving to Singapore, he scored close to full marks in PET without specific preparation and passed AEIS on his first attempt to enter a government school.
